Job Profile
HGV Drainage Engineer required for our client; a long-standing family-run Drainage company based in the North-West. Due to expansion, our client is looking to bring on an experienced Combi-Tanker Driver / Drainage Engineer to complete jetting and vacuum suction works across the North-West of England. Our client carry’s out a full drainage service for a wide range of commercial and industrial clients across the North West of England.

Due to our clients’ current contracts/needs, the ideal candidate will be based within a 20-mile radius of Preston and happy to commute there on a daily basis.

HGV Drainage Engineer Position Requirements

Previous Drainage Tanker Driving / Operating experience essential
Class 2 HGV Licence essential
Experience working on 18-tonne & 26-tonne Combi Tanker units
Based within 20 miles of Preston
CSCS card and Confined Spaces tickets
HGV Drainage Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £28k – £35k, depending on experience
45 hour working week
5x Overtime after 45 hours worked
28 Day’s Holiday (20 + Bank Holiday’s)
1 in 4 weekends call out rota. Standby amount paid, plus extra pay if called out

We are looking for owner-drivers, fleet owners, and HGV drivers (Class 1 or 2) based anywhere in the UK and interested in taking the next step up and becoming owner-operators and transport company owners. To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
