JARK is looking for Class 2 drivers in the Birmingham area. We’re offering agency work that can lead to a permanent contract. We have client based in Birmingham is looking for people to get started immediately.

Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Location: Birmingham

Pay Rate: 14-15.68

Job Type: Temp- on going/ temp-perm

Key responsibilities

· Timely Deliveries: Ensuring that all assigned deliveries are made on time and in accordance with the established delivery schedule.

· Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and helpful when interacting with customers/ clients.

· Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with the dispatch team or supervisors to provide updates on delivery progress, report any issues or delays, and coordinate any changes in delivery schedules.

· Adhering to Safety Regulations: Following all traffic laws and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear e.g., seatbelts, obeying speed limits, and practicing safe driving techniques to reduce the risk of accidents.

– Driving Skills: Proficiency in operating a delivery vehicle, including safe driving practices, navigation, and the ability to handle different types of vehicles Defensive driving skills are crucial for ensuring safety on the road.

– Time Management: Effective time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule. This includes the ability to plan routes efficiently, manage delivery windows, and adapt to unexpected delays..
