Job Description

Job Title – HGV Class 2 Driver (Cat C Licence)

Term – Permanent

Pay – Between £21,000 and £30,000

With countless years of experience, Coseley Services will help you deliver. We have over 30 years of experience in the road haulage industry.

Apart from general haulage we also deal with contract work, with nationwide/local/same or next day deliveries. Our vehicle range covers up to 26 tonnes gross vehicle weight. All vehicles are fitted with a satellite tracking system and sat-nav as standard, with highly trained drivers. Ideally, applicants will have good geographical knowledge of Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.

What you need?

Candidates must hold a current valid category C Licence, with no more than 3 points for minor offences.
Must hold a current valid Drivers Qualification Card.
You must have a good understanding of both Drivers Hours and WT Regulations.
You must have a good understanding of operating a Digital recording equipment as well as holding a current Digital driver card.
Nationwide Deliveries and Collections.
As a company we always ensure an excellent service to all our customers.
Experience-

You must have at least 2 years’ experience in carrying steel, sheeting and securing loads on flat back vehicles as required.
You are required to be of good general health, to have the ability to carry out your daily driving and loading duties.
You must drive our vehicles courteously and within the Highway Code at all times.
Hours of work-

Basic Hours are from 8am till 4pm but you will need to be flexible enough for early starts and late finishes to satisfy our customer’s needs.
Rates of Pay-

Basic Rate up to 45 hours – £9.25 per hour
Rate above 45 hours – £12.00 per hour
Weekend work occasional at a rate starting at £13.50 per hour (guaranteed 4 hours) plus weekend start bonus.
We also operate a good drivers/ weekly attendance bonus of £75.00 per week.
28 days annual holiday including Bank Holidays.
Nights out Expenses Subsistence (occasional) at a rate of £26.20 per night.
We operate a company pension scheme.
