Class 1 & 2 HGV Drivers (Tilbury)

Monday – Friday (Day Work)

Falcon Timber is a wood based panel products importer, distributor & solutions specialist.

We operate from a nationwide network of depots with sites in Gateshead, Haydock, High Wycombe, Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham along with our port-based facility at Tilbury. Each location carries a full range of panel products including our own market leading STRE branded ranges, distributed exclusively by Falcon.

We are looking to recruit experienced HGV drivers to join our expanding transport logistics team at our exciting new Tilbury Depot.

We are looking for drivers who are happy to drive both Class 1 & Class 2 vehicles due to our fleet variety.

Within this role you will be on the front line of our customer service; undertaking work in the South East areas and including London delivering wood based products, a high percentage of our customer base is delivering to builders merchants who have forklift offload facilities.

The successful candidates will:

Possess a full valid Class 1 & 2 license.
Have a desirable 2 years Class 1 driving experience but not essential.
Be fully CPC qualified
Be physically active due to the nature of the role as some manual handling will be required.
Have experience of the safe strapping of loads.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills at all levels towards both customers and colleagues.
Have a positive attitude and be of smart appearance upholding our company image at all times.
