Job Title: Refuse HGV2 Driver
Location: Knowsley, Merseyside
Days of Work: Monday – Friday
Salary: £13.03ph
Start Date: Immediate Start
Basis: Temporary/Ongoing

Hexagon Recruitment are currently seeking HGV2 Drivers to provide a safe and efficient refuse collection service to the public around the Knowsley area.

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

Collect domestic waste from residential areas as per planned routes.
Ensure that collections are made safely, efficiently and within the allocated time frames.
Provide excellent customer service when dealing with members of the public during collections or enquiries about missed bins/collections etc.
Maintain accurate records such as vehicle mileage logs, daily defect sheets etc., so that fleet maintenance can be properly monitored and managed.
Ensure all equipment is checked prior to use each day to ensure it is fit for purpose.
Adhere strictly to any health & safety regulations
Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by management from time to time.
Skills / Qualifications Required :

Must hold valid HGV Class 2 licence along with valid CPC card
Good knowledge of local area roads/routes
Ability to read maps/plans accurately
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
