Working hours:Either 07:00 – 15:30 or 08:00 – 16:30 or 09:00 – 17:30 Monday – Friday

My client, a bus / coach operator based in Peterborough is actively seeking to employ an experienced PSV Technician to join their engineering team on a day shift.

As a PSV Technician, you will be required to undertake the following;

Inspect vehicles to identify any defects and carry out the required repairs
Pre-planned servicing
Reactive Maintenance
Fault finding & computerised diagnostics
MOT inspections
MOT preparations
Light welding / fabricating if you have the skills – NOT ESSENTIAL

To qualify for this role, you will need the following;

Relevant engineering qualifications – City & Guilds / NVQ or industry equivalent
Knowledge of heavy diesel service, maintenance and repair
Preferably with a background in Bus and Coach engineering but engineers from HGV, Plant or Van backgrounds will be very welcome
A minimum of a category B driving licence – heavy vehicle entitlement would be beneficial but isnt essential as driver training can be provided
