Driving Force Recruitment Ltd are currently offer an excellent opportunity for HGV 1 Day/Afternoon/ night Drivers to work for our award-winning customers for their peak period based in Thornbury (BS35)

The job will be distributing frozen/chilled produce for a Major UK Retailer. All cage work so it will be a manual job however the drops are to local retail stores and you’re looking at 1-3 Drops per shift.

Current Shift Patterns available –

Saturday – Monday– 0100 to 0700 starts

Shifts tend to be 8 – 13 Hours long, with run information provided prior.

PAYE

£16.18 per hour 0600 – 1200 Starts Monday to Friday

£19.42 per hour 12.00 – 0600 starts Monday to Friday

£19.42 – £21.03 per hour Saturday

£19.42 – £21.03 per hour Sunday

* overtime of 20% after 40 hours

You must be able to pass an initial Day paid assessment; paper work part will include testing your knowledge on working time directive and there will also be a driving aspect to the assessment.

The right candidate will have an enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.

Desired Skills:

Driving License, Digi card and Drivers CPC Card

Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

Good Geographical Knowledge

Minimum of 18 Months experience on C+E license.

Excellent communication skills.

Unfortunately, we cannot use any candidates with DR10 or CD10 on your license.

A maximum of 6 points on your licence.

Ongoing, temporary and part-time shifts are available.
