People Solutions are currently recruiting for a National logistics company based in Chesterfield who are looking for multiple Class 1 drivers to join their team.

This will be for on-going work with an opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

We are looking for Class 1 Drivers who are ideally looking to work a Friday to Monday shift pattern, however all shift patterns can be accommodated.

This is a great chance to join a major company in the transport sector with year round work, not just peak period work.

Working days and shift times:

Monday to Sunday – 03:00am – 09:00am – 11:00am Starts

Pay rate:

£14.00 – £18.00 Per Hour

Day to Day Duties

As a HGV driver you will responsible for the safe, efficient and accurate delivery of products to distribution centres in the agreed timeframe.

You must ensure due diligence with regards to temperature control and food hygiene.

Drivers are expected to keep their vehicle clean and well presented at all times, ensuring that daily vehicle checks are completed.

This is a role where you will very rarely touch the load if ever.

Essential Skills

Full Category C+E entitlement

Valid CPC and Digi tacho cards

Minimum of 18 months Class 1 experience.

Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence

Desirable Experience

Previous experience using temperature controlled trailers is desirable but not essential

The Best Connection on behalf of our Burtonwood based client are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 night Drivers for long term ongoing work.

*****LONG TERM ONGOING WORK*****

22:00 – 01:00 start times available.

Full time and part time drivers welcome, we work around your availability.

Nationwide trunk work or local drop and swap.

No Loading or Unloading.

Clean and easy work.

Rates of pay per hour

£14.50 – Monday to Thursday

£15.00 – Friday

£16.50 – Saturday

£17.50 – Sunday

On site assessments are available on a daily basis with immediate starts available.
